Dr. Dayanara Marte joined a ballroom full of powerful women at the 3rd annual NYC Celebrates Women Brunch Fundraiser to celebrate International Women’s Day. This panel of businesswomen from different sectors came together to lend helpful advice and guidance to other entrepreneurs on how to succeed through their journey. Panels were comprised of companies that provide resources to small businesses, mental health and self-care keynote speakers.
NYC Celebrates Women (NYCCW)’s mission is to amplify the voice of women of color entrepreneurs to end the generational wealth gap through five pillars:
- Networking
- Awareness
- Healing
- Mentorship
- Philanthropy
The proceeds of this event will benefit NYCCW and NMIC.
The NMIC offers residents of Upper Manhattan and the Bronx free services in five key areas: housing, education and career services, benefits and finance, immigration, and social services.
